Welcome to the Pittsburgh Science Workshop. We believe science enrichment should be free, joyful, meaningful, and easily accessible!

Our mission is to empower young people from low-income and under-served communities to grow academically, and expand their confidence, through hands-on science and creative ingenuity.

Pittsburgh Science Workshop’s free open hours are Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 3:30-6:00pm on the Northside at 1901 Brighton Rd. Kids and teens can try interesting new science experiments, and work on fun projects of their choice!  For age 7+ (or younger with support). Parents/caregivers welcome but not required. Come check it out! We also hold exhibit building and drop-in project time every Tuesday 4-7pm in McKees Rocks at 531 Chartiers Ave Questions? email team@sciworkshop or call (412) 545-3468
